Dear Jonghyun,
Let me start by saying that you worked hard. Thank you for the amazing music, singing, dancing and performances. I will treasure all the things you've left behind.
I don't know why your death has upset me so much, but it has. I imagine it's partly because we are roughly the same age. At the moment I'm having a really good life. We bought a house last year, my husband and I have been married for 3.5 years, and we have been together for 8. Yet there are so many more things that I wish to do and see, that it's hard to imagine what it is like when all life is bringing you is pain. That life is just making you tired.
I'm sorry you didn't get to experience the joy in life that I wished you had. It's selfish, but your songs brought me so much joy, I just hoped for you to get the same.
But hey, who's to say life is the only chance we get. Death might have opened many new opportunities for you. If that is so, I hope you find peace. I hope you find something that you enjoy to do. I hope you find someone you love to be with. I hope you experience so much more than you had the chance to in this life.
