most astonishing property:
the graphic origin of its ties
to Venus.

As a young student
I had been stunned to learn
that the planet Venus traced a perfect pentacle
across the ecliptic sky
every eight years ........

SO astonished
were the ancients to observe this phenomenon,
that Venus and her pentacle became symbols of perfection, beauty, and the cyclic qualities of
sexual love.

As a tribute
to the magic of Venus,
the Greeks used her eight-year cycle to organize their
Olympic Games.

Nowadays,
few people realize that the four-year schedule of modern Olympics still followes the half-cycles of Venus.
Even fewer people knew that the five-pointed star had almost become the official Olympic seal but was modified at the last moment ~
its five points exchanged for five intersecting rings to better reflect
the games' spirit of inclusion
and harmony.

According the some
the pentacle must also relate to the devil {whatever that might be}
and witches, gothics, US & USSR armies, communism/socialism,
Hollywood and so on?

The five-pointed star
is by now a virtual cliche in Satanic serial killer films,
usually scrawled on the wall of some Satanist's apartment along with other alleged demonic symbology {Charly Manson's Helter Skelter to initiate
Race Wars}. How can you stop yourself from being frustrated
when you see this symbol in that context since the pentacle's true origins were actually quite
godly?

So,
I can assure you,
despite what you see in the movies,
the pentacle's demonic interpretation is historically inaccurate.
The original feminine meaning is correct,
but the symbolism of the pentacle has been distorted over the millennium:
in this case through
bloodshed.

Symbols
are very resilient,
but the symbolism of the pentacle has been distorted and altered
by the early Roman Catholic Church: as part of the Vatican's campaign to eradicate pagan religions and convert the masses to Christianity,
the Church launched a smear campaign against the pagan gods and goddesses, recasting their divine symbols
as evil.

This is,
as we all should know by now,
very common in times of turmoil.
A newly emerging power will take over the existing symbols and degrade
them over time in an attempt
to erase their meaning.

In the battle
between the pagan symbols and Christian symbols, the pagans lost;
Poseidon's trident became the devil's pitchfork,
the wise crone's pointed hat became the symbol of witches and Jews,
and Venus's pentacle became a sign of the devil or
Satan {g*d's opposite or the
'antiG*D'} ...

Unfortunately
the United States Military has also perverted the pentacle;
it's by NOW our foremost symbol of war. We paint it on all 'our' fighter jets
and hang it on the shoulders of all our generals.
So much for the goddess of love and
beauty!

Replication
and immitation:
repeating a symbol
is the simplest way to strenghthen its meaning
as we also can see every day with 'the Star of David', the 'Moslim Half Moon', all kinds of 'Christian Crosses', the "Dutch Lion",
'the eagle', the 'hawk'. 'falcon' & 'panther' and
the upturned middle finger,
the 'fuck you' sign
a.s.o.

A naked human form like
everyone can see every night on the commercial tv-stations
with other commercial 'products',
is yet another endorsement of Venus ~ the socalled goddess
of human sexuality and of the arse of Mars as symbol for hot/cold worldwide wars ...

Although modern culture
has erased much of Venus's association with the male/female
physical union, a sharp etymological eye can still spot a vestige of Venus's
original meaning in the word 'venereal' or 'love & sex' all over the world
presently heavily associated
with 'aids' ...

The pentacle
originally considered a sign
of female deity.

The correlations
between this symbol and the sacred feminine is widely known by lots of people, as is the cross as sign of torture and
salvation.

The sword of justice
& revenge with the balance of justice and 'surely'
going to 'paradise' by blowing yourself up with as many 'enemies' as possible.

Collateral
damage in 'justified'
legal action ........

Blood
transfusion
meant to save life
that can kill ....

Violence
to promote 'love &
understanding'?

Wie kan

aanval en verdediging?

Belediging
en bloedwraak,
incest & ouderliefde, love &
hate?

Verliefdheid
en verdoemenis, huwelijk &
scheiding?

Baas
in eigen buik &
'overeten', verkering & aanranding, verloving & verkrachting?
EN vooral: in WELK land, WELKE cultuur,
WAT VOOR godsdienst
of ideologie?

Sommige religies
en vormen van filosofie
zijn nog steeds verboden in heel wat landen.
En wat moet een democratie met
kinderprostitutie.

Kapitalisme,
alcoholisme, drugsverslaving & kooplust
met liefdadigheid, socialisme met concentratiekampen en strijdliederen.
Het "Leger des Heils" en daklozen, kledingwinkels, opvang van
thuislozen.

Artsen
zonder grenzen, popsterren voor
vluchtelingen.

Het loopt tegen Kerstmis
dus wordt het tijd om te wat meer te schenken en te
denken aan Birma, Korea, Irak, Iran
& Nepal.

Tibet & Kashmir,
Thailand, Cambodja.
Vietnamoorlogen en Indonesia.
Afrika & Arabia, Amerika
& Asia ...

Het is weer eens wat te lang geworden?
Maar nieuws zien op tv of erover lezen in kranten en tijdschriften is anders
dan er zelf rondlopen en samenleven met
de aboriginals.

In de Lage Landen opgroeien
met alles wat dat insluit aan zakgeld,
voeding, behuizing, scholing, werk, uitkering en misdaad e.d.,
is weer verschillend van overconsumptie, overheidstekorten en misdaad-bestrijding of 'oorlog aan het
terrorisme'.

Ooit heette dit 'het Vrije Westen'. OF: 'Ons Insulinde'.
Het IJzeren Gordijn. De Socialistische/Communistische Heilsstaat.
De Joodse Geschiedenis door de eeuwen heen en Kruistochten. Het Roomse Rijk en de White Anglo Saxon Protestant States ....
Heilige Oorlogen. Barbaren. Hunnen. Wereldrijken.
En heel dat 'gedoe' hing en hangt aan elkaar van en
met allerhande symbolen en verborgen
'verleiders' ........

Zon. Maan. Sterren.
Goden en godinnen en hun 'nakomelingen'.
Heilige {vuurspugende} Bergen en talloze andere 'internationale'
"Heilige Plaatsen".

Hoogoplopende
Emoties en grensgebieden vergeven van
landmijnen.

Wereldwijde
Mensenhandel van Top tot
Bottom.

En de
enige 'uitweg' ligt 'binnenin
jezelf'.

Profeten
door de eeuwen heen deden en doen
daar al en nog steeds hun eigen eigenwijze
zegjes over.

Talloze
prachtige spreekwoorden
en zalige gezegden.

Leefregels
en zelfbeheersing.
Zelfkennis en geduld.
Hoop &
liefde.

En ik?
Ik stop voor nu!
Dit 'woordenspel' blijkt telkens weer
gigantisch uit de klauwen te lopen.
Broodnodige afwisseling
gewenst.
