vandaag,
beetje klef en grijzig van buiten,
maar 'gaten vullend'
vanbinnen.

Heen en weer 'gedoken' dwars door dertig jaren op en neer.
Hoe lang leek de tijd zich toen vooruit te strekken in oneindigheid.
En hoe snel is 'alles' voorbijgevlogen achteraf
gezien ........

Rijst gekookt met champignons, ui en knoflook & sauce.
Rode wijn en koud helder water.
En duizendvoudige herinneringen aan al die plaatsen, mensen en tijden.
Zo razendgelukkig zonder duidelijke oorzaken.

Dwars door hitte en koude,
warme en koude diktaturen en afwisselende landschappen.
En zie hoe het veranderde in meer dan 30 jaar!

as tied to any particular
theory
but to a faith ...

but pacifistsocialist values
are permanent!

sufficiently recognized but
it is fundamental!

one can found a school

a new way of living together

and she shows you where to look for in the garbage and the flowers
there are heroes in the seaweed
there are children in the morning: they are leaning out for love
and they will lean that way forever
while suzan holds

and jesus was a sailor as he walked upon the waters
and he spend a long time watching from his lonely wooden tower
and when he knew for certain
only drowning men could see him

but he himself was broken long before the skies would open

suzan takes you down
to her place near the river
you can hear the boats go by
and you can spend the night beside her
and you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there
and she gives you tea and oranges that come all the way

that you have no love to give her
she gets you on her wavelength and she lets the river answer
that you've always been her lover

SAY THE TRUTH
say what you think and feel: don't pretend
think straight and compare and conclude: don't lie
use your senses: be sensitive and tender: don't conform
BE CREATIVE and patient and kind and strong: don't drag
live to dig and discover and learn how to create recreate play together
don't be a living corpse any longer or just an animal or a machine ........
try to become more human a human being to become ...
WAKE UP TO SEE THE SUN RISE
don't slumber any longer
notice nature all around you
don't go on spending and wasting your time doing nothing REAL
but help the poor ones and try to keep away from the rich if you can
don't be a hypocrite: FEEL THE WIND IN YOUR HAIR
BECOME AWARE
of the wind and the rain and history all around and inside you
GET YOURSELF TOGETHER
