Don't Kill Me Now

I'm actually no longer sure whether my best friend is doing this on purpose or whether is genuinely is just joking, but either way it's messing with my head. She knows how much I want to be with C and how much my feelings are growing for him day by day. She says that she likes him too and that he's gorgeous. I can cope with that but when I get messages saying "C is mine", now that just pushes me over the edge. It was only last year that she fell for a lad and when he came back, she passed up her opportunity once again. I've never interfered with any of the lads she likes or any of the boyfriends she's had and yet she goes and does this to me.
If next year does come around and she takes him away from me, she's going to have a lot of explaining to do.
