a headache
& painful muscles
the past few days,
but now it's getter
a bit better
{I hope!}?

tried to show that it is possible to write the story of Jesus' life. Which fascinates
me almost every day and night of my life: I believe
in the 'real' person & try
to understand
'superstitions'
...

We have fuller records
about the lives of contemporaneous emperors
& some Roman poets. With the exception of the historian Josephus Flavius
and possibly ShaulPaul {"Sjapeau" a.s.o.}, however, Yehoshua
"haNatsri aka haMashiah" is one Jew of post-Old Testament
times about whom
we 'know most'
"till now"?

Every
biography has
its own peculiar
problems: we can hardly
expect to find information about this Yeshua
in non-Christian documents and he shares this fate also
with [a.o.] Mosheh, Buddha, & Mohammed, who likewise
received no mention in the reports of 'non-believers'.
So the oly important Christian sources concerning JC
are those four known Gospels: Matai, Mark. Luke, &
Yochanan/John: the rest of the socalled NT tells us
almost nothing about his life, but only what all
others thought about
him on more or
less 'dubious
grounds'?!

These
first three
Gospels are primarily
based upon common historical
material, while the fourth Gospel is
correctly regarded as more concerned
with presenting a theological perspective:
the parallels between the first three are such
that they can be printed in three columns to form
a synopsis ~ hense the name "Synoptic Gospels" given
to those first three books of the socalles NT! Once
you grow up with these stories and
visit all those places where 'it' is
supposed to have 'happened',
Yeshu becomes
more & more
fascinating!
