Ja,
dat is
het merkwaardige:
meer dan tweeduizend jaar 'goed nieuws'
en de veranderingen die je zou kunnen verwachten
gaan wel verdraaide langzaam?

Vierduizend
jaar zo ongeveer
zijn er zwervende joden
tussen de Eufraat en de Tigris,
de rivier de Nijl en de Yardeen
en de rest van de wereld:
2000 jaar bijna
zogenaamde 'christenen',
meer dan 1000 jaar moslims,
ook al onderverdeeld in diverse soorten,
2500 jaar boeddhisme vanuit hindoeisme,
Kong Fu Tse, Tao, Zen, socialismes & communismes,
liberalismes en al die andere 'ismen'
met allen hun eigen tempels,
'beelden', synagogen, kerk & staat. moskee, buurthuis,
parlement en al die andere tenten
en gebouwen!

Terwijl
'de boodschap'
eigenlijk heel eenvoudig is
maken de mensen er telkens weer
een soepzootje van?

Vanuit
'het dichtst bij huis'
Yehosjoea "haNatsri haMasjiach"
als een zoon van 'g d' na Yochanan
de Doper:

'This
is the good news
about Yesjoe,
a 'son of
g d'
.

"IT"
began
as the prophet Yesjayahu
had written:

"Here
is my messenger,"
says "G D";

"I will
send him ahead of you
to open the way
for you!"

Like
someone
is shouting in
the desert:

"Get
the Lord's road
ready for him
and make a straight path for him
to travel!"'

So
this John
appeared in the desert,
baptizing people and preaching
his message.

"Turn
away from your sins
and be baptized," he told the people,
"and 'g d' wil forgive
your sins.
"

So
they confessed their sins
and he baptized them in the Jordan river.
John wore clothes made of camel's hair,
with a leather belt around his waist;
he ate locusts and wild honey
and announced to
the people:

"The man
who will come after me
is much greater than I am;
I am not good enough even
to bend down and untie his sandals.
I baptize you with water,
but he will baptize you
with g d's holy
spirit!"

Not
long afterward
Yesjoea came from Natsaret, in the region of Galilee,
and Yochanan baptized him in the Yardeen and as soon as Yesjoe came up out of the water he saw heaven opening and spirit
coming down on him
like a dove.

And
a voice
came from heaven:
"You are my own dear son. I am well pleased with you!"
Bloemrijke dichterlijke oosterse taal vol met allerlei toenmalige associaties,
overgeleverde dromen en fantasierijke
visioenen ...

And
at once
the spirit made him go into the desert.
He was there forty days, and 'satan' tempted him.
Wild animals were there also,
but 'angels' came and
helped him.

And
Yochanan
{"John"} had been put in prison,
Yeshoea went to Galilee and preached the good news from 'g d'.
"The right time as come," he said, "and the kingdom of g d is near!
So turn away from your sins and believe the good news!"
"Come with me and I will teach you to catch men."
They came to the town of Kfar Nachoem, and on the next sjabbath day Yesjoe went into the synagogue and began to teach. The people who heard him were amazed at the way he taught.
He wasn't like the other teachers of the law;
instead, he taught with
authority.

Simpel toch?
