'found Jesus' @ an evangelical youth camp
in the North of California, 'a place of timbered fields & boundless skies, where, given enough time & stillness & soft-spoken encouragement, one could not help but hear the voice of God'! Amidst the man-made lakes & majestic pines my friends & I sang songs, played games, & swapped secrets, (f)rollicking in our freedom from the pressures of home & school! In the evenings, we gathered in a fire-lit assembly hall @ the center of the camp. It was there that I heard a remarkable story that would change my life forever! About 20 ages ago, he was told, in an ancient land called Galilee, the "G d of heaven & earth was born in the form of (another) helpless child"; this child grew into a blameless man: the man became 'the (JEWISH: meshiah/messiah) Christ', i.o.w. 'saviour of humanity' & through his words & "miraculous deeds", he challenged also the Jews, who thought they were already 'the chosen of G d', so in return 'they had him nailed by the Romans to a roman cross meant for terrorists' etcetera(RA)! Though he (Yesh) 'could have saved himself' by running away from that gruesome death, he 'freely choose to die'? His death was (became) The Point of It All, for his examples of sacrifice while alive & 'living among us' freed us all 'from the burdens' of our sins, but this story 'did not end there',
because three days later, 'he rose again', "EXALTED AND DIVINE", so that now,
all that really believe in him & his examples,
& accept him into our hearts will
also 'never really die',
but DO HAVE
already 'eternal'
