Stay... and more
So, the song "Stay" by Florida Georgia Line/Black Stone Cherry really gets to me lately, perhaps more than it should. I knew the song before I first met C, but ever since, it seems to have more of an impact on me emotionally. I think it's the word itself really and the desperation of needing someone that bad that's portrayed through the ideas, rhythm and lyrics of the song. It's so simple, yet it means so much. I guess I can particularly relate to the line,
"if I told you I loved you, would it make you wanna stay?" because that's what it's all about really. Being able to give up something to make room for something better. Isn't that what life's all about? Even if it's me that has to make some of the sacrifices. A link to the lyrics is here for those of you who don't know it

I don't know whether I mentioned this is my last diary entry but I'm kind of a little obsessed with the whole Moors Murders thing. I just cannot seem to get enough info out of it! I'd ordered this book called "The Lost Boy: The Definitive Story of the Moors Murders". It's the latest edition of the book so it's up to date and everything but believe me, it is amazing. It focuses more on Myra Hindley's life than it does Brady's and included much detail about her early life as well as what led her to help Brady and assist him in those heinous crimes, almost 50 years ago now. I'm a keen student of Psychology and hope to go on to do Criminology in the future, so I guess that has a lot to do with the fascination.
I'm also planning a trip into town tomorrow. C recently bought some shorts and a T-shirt from a shop here in England, so I'm going to go and buy them. They're what he was wearing when I first saw him. It's more of a memory than anything else. Something to help the time fly by a little quicker.
358 days to go!
