For quite a number of generations after the coming of that "messiah/'mashiach'/christ", different followers & groups of followers of Yeshua held many different theological views & engaged in a great variety of practices with respect to the Jewish law of their ancestors. One of the most important arguments had to do with the relation between these two entities who would end up being the first two 'persons' of a so-called "Trinity". Many Christians believed that the Son or the Word (Logos) was subordinate to G d the Father & even created by him;
others believed that while the Son was 'uncreated' & had existed from before the beginning of time, he nonetheless was only of a
similar substance to the Father; & a third group believed that there was no difference at all in substance between the Father & his Son?! As far as I (chai) am concerned all of them are 'right' in their own way, as were & are those from all other times & places of more or less similar intention, no matter in what languages, cultures & races suchlike considerations keep 'popping up' every now & then, who aim for the same 'results'!). There were also very sharp differences in practice between "Christian & Christian": some Christians still kept much of the Jewish law (or all of it), some kept some rules but dropped others (e.g., the apostolic rule of Acts), & still others believed that the entire Law needed to be overturned & discarded by 'real' Christians! (Even those 'born Jews'

! Finally there were Christians who held that Easter ('pesach'

was a form of the Jewish Passover, suitably interpreted with Yeshu as the Lamb of G d & THE paschal sacri-fice, while others vigorously denied such connections. These had an analogue in practice as well, with the former group celebrating Easter at the same time as the Jews celebrated Passover. There were many other ('small & big'

points of conflict as well! Until early in the first century, ALL of these very different groups & diverse individuals CALLED themselves Christians, & quite a few called themselves BOTH Jews & Christians as well! Again, I prefer this manysplendored 'thing' far above some forced monotheism pretending to be THE one & only 'chosen' to represent THE one & only 'truth'?! In the same way plants, animals & humans vary in size, length, color, language & lots of other 'tiny' differences in thinking, feeling, acting & 'representing'!? Or for that matter all 'myDiertjes' writing their own stories about whatever THEY experienced during THEIR lives. The main point is we keep care for each other: human rights (including plants & animals) verbalized our need for unity & diversification ...
