Mydiconnections, -disruptions, explorations & ....

The story of the fall of Troy/Troje tells us that the news of the final victory was relayed from Asia Minor to Greece/Hellas by a series of signal fires. Signal fires have been in use ever since and are believed to have led to the use of the heliograph, whereby the sun's rays reflected from a mirror at significant intervals. But was not the meaning of the signal fires of Troy previously agreed upon through the agency of spoken tongue?!

The same with our Christmas & Easter Fires: our written and spoken communications rest upon lots of unconscious rivers of our feeling, thought,
expression, creation, poetry, prose, symbolism, images, projections, beliefs, hopes and wishes for our near and far future. Nature and all cultures are constructs of racial, 'national', local, international, social & economical pictures willed into life by our inner need for survival & revolutions ...

The same kind of question arises in connection with modern means of communication and the Tom-Tom used by African natives as a long-distance telephone. We can now, if need be, talk with a person we see on the other side of the world, transfer money, knowledge & disputations until the whole world have become as one global village in the worldwide web of interactions, -relations, -integrations and added philosophies ...

The tomtoms with their significantly spaces beats antedate the Morse code by several centuries, and their rate of transmission by a skilled local operator is as speedy as that of the telegraph. We are constantly speeding up our useful inventions since the use of sticks and stones, fire & hunt
for food, companionship, mutual interests & suchlike 'religious/political' natural/cultural human evolution through the ages: we hunger for some more real meaning in our lives, and are able to do almost anything to satisfy those universal human needs for structure, order & new creations.

Thus all annual feasts & fires, explosions & games, dances, songs, musical creations & whatever pops up "out of nowhere" into our fertile bodies & brains, habits, buildings, transportation, communication & celebration. Obviously all of us come from such variable backgrounds, familiar ties &
strange old & new visitors from 'outer space' in the (mis)use of symbols, rituals, spoken & written forms of language and 'g d's kingdom on earth'
