stof, zand,
compost, bomen,
struiken, takken, hout,
zaag, hark, bezem, dozen
met duizend en een dingen van
tientallen jaren
geleden ...

Opruimen,
nakijken, wegzetten,
kiezen & delen
voor de komende
weken ...

Nog net
even tijd voor
wat anders
van tweeduizend jaar
geleden:

do not
set yourself
against the one
who wrongs
you

if someone
slaps you on the right cheek
turn and offer
your left

if someone
wants to sue you
for your shirt
give him your coat as well
and give
if you are asked
do not turn your back
on one who wants
to borrow

love
your enemies
only so can you be
children of the ONE who makes the sun rise
on good and bad
alike
and sends the rain
on the honest and the dishonest
you must therefore be
all goodness
just as the eternal ONE
is all good

do not make
a stand by evil means
g*d is the source of all good
our goodness must not be less
than that perfection

our love
must not be less than that
seen in dayly nature

if we are
children of the eternal ONE
the family likeness must appear
we are to show love
not only to our friends
but to our enemies

not only
to good ones but to bad ones
not only to those whom we expect
to respond
but to those whom we
do not expect
to respond

love
in all sincerity
loathing evil and clinging
to the good

give
pride of place
to one another in esteem
with unflagging energy
in ardour of spirit
serve
the eternal ONE
let hope
keep you joyful
in trouble
stand firm
persist in proper
meditation
contribute to the needs
of the needy
and practice good
hospitality
call blessings
on your persecutors
not curses
with the joyful
be joyful
and mourn with the
mourners

have equal regard
for one another
do not be haughty
but go about with humble folk
do not keep thinking how wise you are
never pay back
evil for evil
and let your aims be such
as all people count
honorable

if possible
so far as it lies
with you

live at peace with all people

do not seek revenge

but if your enemy is hungry

give food and if thirsty

give to drink:

do not let evil
conquer you
but use good to
defeat
evil

love others
as you love yourself

let us love
one another
because love is
from g*d

everyone who loves
is a child of g*d and knows
the eternal ONE

for g*d is love

if g*d loves us
we in turn are bound
to love one another

though g*d
has never been seen by
any human being

g*d dwells in us
if we love one another
and love is brought to perfection
within us

there is no room
for fear

perfect love
banishes fear

we love because
we are loved first

love is
the very nature
of the eternal
ONE

the power
which pulsates through
the universe

love is
the depth of our
being

the only
way the world will work
and the only way in which we can
find our true
selves

g*d's love is
incomplete until we
show love


g*d's love
is brought to perfection
in us


g*d has no body now
on earth but ours


no hands but ours


no feet but ours


ours are the eyes
through which christ's compassion
is to look in the world


ours are the feet
with which he is to go about
doing good


ours are the hands
with which he is to bless us
now and here


there is nothing here for us
to boast about


yeshu
showed us
a new way


a way of life


a way
of changing
the whole world


it is
individually and politically
relevant


it is
in its own way
revolutionary


the way of
non-violence


truth-force


soul-force


where
love is still
the way


the eternal ONE
seeks to fulfil it in us
always and
everywhere


now
and here in
you &
me
moving
towards
a new
society
