down with ecstacy from XTC & '[il]legal criminals'

What
comes around
goes around, and
what goes up must
come down again: since we
are here, we might as well
get to know each other a bit better?

If we know what our ancestors have been doing,
feeling, seeing, believing and why they might have acting like they did:
maybe we'll understand each other and ourselves a lot better than before!
When, why and how did we start walking and talking,
and why did [and do] we live like we did [and do]
all over the world?

What makes us stick together and start fighting?
Who can say that he claims to be in his right mind
while destroying himself and the whole wide world all around us
by 'business as usual' and an attitude that causes more wars and madness,
injustice, violence, sickness and pain 'till doomsday will be really there'
for all of us to share!?

All I can do is:
gather pieces of religions,
sciences, convictions, acts and beliefs,
cultures, fashions, philosophies and bits of every day 'mydilife'
and hope to find some more gold and silver every now and then,
precious stones & all kinds of other treasures among the rubble of a still present past,
the plastic of the present and hopes
for our future!

Why else
should I have been living,
reading and writing for since I was young?

The same thing is valid for all these other socalled 'mind-altering' drugs,
religious and political convictions, philosophical and cultural inseminations,
that we have all been cultivating, from our earliest days and nights, in so many far away places
hundreds of thousands of years ago, separating from each other,
and now while we are coming together again,
to gather the harvest
of what we have been sowing,
blowing, growing and doing,
ever since 'them days'?!

Thus
also specimens
of the different types of hemp
and all other kinds of psychedelics now still existing in the world
could and should be collected and classified by vintage like wine,
coffee, tea, fruit & vegetable, mushroom, herb, vine, cactus and so on,
like we also do in all our other museums,
laboratories & experimental
hotspots!

After all:
quality is all~important
in the use of what we have available,
as the lower grades stultify rather than activate the brain & the body.
Especially therefore possibilities of all kinds of mutations in all of the species whould be carefully studied. The legends seem to agree that the plants available today are some how different
from what the ancients had,
giving only a dim echo
of that original

Soma
from the slopes of Mount Meru:
the legends mention the plant changing colour
after migrations
from one region to
another!

The
different types
of hemp and other psychedelics
do no only have e very wide range of variation in their effect,
they are also frequently of quite different colours.
Among today's smokers & tokers
there are a few special names
for the extra best,
expressed
in golds,
reds,
blues,
greens,
browns, blacks
and yellows
...

And
for many
centuries and
in many different countries
its medicinal qualities were readily acknowledged.
For just one example of more than 150 years ago:
it is listed as a remedy for tetanus, hydrophobia, fear, delirium tremens, infantile convulsions,
asthma, hay fever and protracted labour:
but hemp was dropped
about sixtyfive years
ago because no dependable preparation of it was known?
This is hardly surprising in the absence of any classification of the different sub~species
according to date and place
of harvest
.......

The dried flowers
still are a dependable enough preparation
for millions of people all over the world today!
Untill recently doctors could maybe not yet prescribe the herb{s} themselves,
but we can make tinctures and ointments containing extracts of it:
they seem to be particularly useful in treatment of certain types of ulcers,
multiple sclerosis, fears and depressions?
And of course another point of interest
is the close similarity in effect
between grass and all kinds
of other psychedelics
such as the much
stronger
LSD
a.s.o.!

For after all
there is and always will be,
a very wide gap between 'normal'
four~dimensional conscuousness,
and the multi~dimensional consciousness experienced with,
for instance,
LSD!

Most people
find it still very
extremely difficult
to bring the two states
into coherent relation with each other.
But stuff like marihuana provides a point of transition between them,
making it possible to open up multidimensional psychedelic consciousness
without losing total contact with four~dimensional consciousness:
this point of big transition may very well be
of major importance
in bridging
this gap.

Legal
restrictions have
hindered research during
the whole period of the development of modern psychiatry.
You can also cross~check with names such as Timothy Leary, Alan Watts,
Francois Rabelais, Charles baudelaire, Arthur Rimbaud, Aldous Huxley, Henri Michaux,
Paul Bowles, Allen Ginsberg, William James, Julian Huxley, Carl Jung,
William Burroughs and our own 'grandfather of the Dutch
psychedelic universe' Simon Vinkenoog,
and of course Hermann Hesse,
Richard Alpert and
so many other 'experts'
from the past!?

Even now,
while we speak,
there seems to be a pharmacy/apothecary
in the North of the Low Lands,
providing certified 'grass'
on medical
prescription.
