I hardly deny,
of course, the significant differences
between the stories, but I find compelling the parallel of a reference
to many years of waiting to see a Scripture fulfilled
and then accepting danger and suffering
with pleasure because
of its completion.
On one hand
we have human wisdom gathered through the ages,
on the other changes are taking place all the time even if we don't notice them right away.
Sjaul Paul was concentrated on the need from the West & left the East
because of his language and
former connections?
Obviously
Greeks & Romans
were in need of something new
and found it via Jewish &
Christian impulses!
The Law
was for all times and places
to be adjusted, translated, experienced,
elevated and newly
appreciated
...
All that we need
is a renewed balance between individual human life
and common human
values for all!?
Some
unique insights
can be gained from crosscultural contacts
and tight experiences
throughout
mankind.
Thus Yehoshua
and his contemporaries like five ages before with prophets, scribes & philosophers
were also seeing things more clearly than before and trying to express
their discoveries in words
and deeds
...
Trust & faith
are essential for more humane development of societies
& individuals: we can't
do without!!
Our versions
of 'holy ghost', 'heavenly spirit', 'g d's wind'
point to new discoveries out
of older traditions?
We have to release ourselves
and others from the chains of the past: change will take place if we are free
and not oppressed/suppressed anymore by out influences and/or inner constraints ~
something new has to evolve as a matter of course ~ not so much material
as well as structural, social &
between agegroups.
The Essenes
appear to have been the 'vagest & clearest' most widespread group
from Jewish offspring and formed with others the bases for new 'converts',
proselytes: those interested in more fruitful
loving development!
Of course
there are differences
between just sitting around
in one place your whole life
& travelling around
the world?
All
we can
try to do
is simplify the complicated &
continue to ask more questions to find new answers:
it goes on and on all the time [in all of us] even if we are
not yet [fully] aware of it. Curious till the day we die [and beyond that]:
every day a new life on the basis of age old
{r}evolutions, amazing discoveries of loving
tenderness ~ a lot of patience, relaxation
as open & careful as can
be ~ eternal grace
in widening
circles.
Have
a nice
day: relax &
enjoy food and company
while we still
can do
so
...
