All
human activities
as far as I know
are bound together by association
and separated by
dissociation?
Everything
we do
[and don't]
is a matter of
joining or connecting in thought:
we involve a person or group with another
and we involve somebody or something with somebody or something else ~
this lies at the roots of being human
from the very beginning
and ever
since
...
We
come together
as partners, mix
socially as friends or
companions and we share functions
with one another:
we combine or join with other parts
as fathers and mothers, parents & children,
brothers and sisters, families
and friends.
We originally started out
as an organization of people having common interests at heart:
relatives searching for food and cover,
help one another to assist us in our struggle for life
just like all other plants and animals did before us
and produce a defense against the forces of nature
which actually have
produced
US.
All
of this
happens {as
in 'happening'}
through the formation of
mental connections between sensations:
all our feelings, ideas, memories and creations were [and are] being formed
by electro-chemical linkage and all ecological communities come into existence through mental life
in terms of these associations of impressions, sensations,
feelings and
ideas!
From
the moment
we were conceived
till the exact moment we read these very same words
all of our human mental and physical activities and faculties
were depending on
and are
the result of our own acquired associations by learning
and 'unlearning'.
Because what is joined
can also be separated by more or less the same processes and operations:
we are the result of association in all our diverse conflicts
and 'unifications'!
And whether the connections
between psychedelic substances and brain activities
are real or 'imaginary',
the fact remains that 'psychedelic{acie}s'
are perfect examples of
our human mental
functioning!
The possible answers
are not so difficult to find
if we notice for instance an interesting detail
encountered in several semitic texts from oriental antiquity:
for example {!}
if we look at the original text of the old testament
and its aramaic translation,
the 'targum onculos',
the word 'kane' or 'kene' sometimes appears
alone and sometimes linked to the adjective 'bosm' [in hebrew]
or 'busma' {in aramaic} which means:
odorous, smelling good,
aromatic?
The biblical 'kane bosm'
and the aramaic 'kene busma' both do
[or can] mean 'hemp'!
If we apply
our hypothetical theory of association
on these words and their meaning we can
come to the following range of possibilities
involving these 'roots' &
'branches'.
Kana/kanoei/kanai
as in for instance
diligence/industry/zealous/ardent/busy/jealous/envy/anger.
Thus kin'ah/kin'at/kina'ut/kin'yan and so on
resulting in meanings {and their associations!}
as f.i.:
ignition/inflammability/kindle/creation
and
founding/obtain/win/earn,
possess, buy, ownership, creatures, herd &
even a for money acquired {the 30 shekels
of Yehudah!}
slave
...
Or:
reed/cane, hit, high,
thatch, rush, grass, stalk, stem,
standard, rule, time, measure,
balance, scales,
elbow
...
Iwrit
is a typical language like that
as also in f.i.
adam, adom, adamah, edom, adumah:
'adamsappel', red, earth, naked
and practically all other words
evolving from a simple 'stem' into all kinds of associated
and like words & meanings.
Because the same thing
goes for instance also for {wo}man {isj[ah]},
water {mayim/majem},
adem/air/wind {ruach},
fire {esh/column/experiment/proof}:
a one or twoletter-'root'
being diversified into countless associated meanings
in {rap}sound and {rap~}
writing
...
To come back to
"K[i/a/e/u]N[i/a/e/u]":
cinnamon, nesting, settling,
cell/stay/residence/abode/home
aso
Or:
hunting/snare/word,
and,
of course 'hemp'
as 'canabos',
with 'birdoffering' for 'jealousy', fanaticism,
zealots {!},
clean, snout, muzzle, blow. sniff, plot, intrigue, connect,
bind, dare, conclude, quarrel, learn, cave & fine,
container, taste, smell,
estimate.
All
of this
can {!} & will {?}
also be encountered
in the 'mishnah' the collection
of traditional hebrew law which contains many aramaic elements.
These astonishing resemblances between the
semitic 'kanbos' and the scythian 'cannabis'
lead us to suppose that the scythian word
is of semitic
origin?
These etymological discussions
run parallel to arguments drawn from history.
The Iranian Scythians were probably related to the Medes,
who were neighbours of the Semites and could easily have assimilated the {common/shared}
word for hemp:
the Semites could also have spread the word
during their migrations through
Asia Minor
...
Cana,
canab, canaib,
canappa, canna, cannapis,
kanas, kanapes, kanbun {Chaldean},
kanebosm {Iwrit},
kanebusma {Aramaic},
kanep, kannab, kanopia, khanchha,
kif, kinder, konop, konopie, konoplja,
weed, hennep & countless other variations
in sound and writing
as well as associated meanings,
affects and
effects!
You can go on
practically endlessly?
That's [also] the way our 'hash'~cookie crumbles
from the origins of mankind from the darkest regions of Africa
to the rest of the world:
passing
{ALL!?}
through Middle Eastern countries
back and forth
to the Himalayas
[where hop {"Dutch courage!}
& hemp originated!],
through Russia and Europe,
from Chaldea to Haran
and from Kana'an {!}
through Egypt and so on
and so
forth!
ALL
of these nomadic tribes
must have known this very useful 'weed'
{wiet} because of its existence in these regions from olden days,
its perfect usefulness in brain stimulation, sleep, appetite,
binding, buying & selling, sex
and settlements,
learning
and unlearning
because of the effects is has on our body
and our brain:
it does make us
remember and forget,
produces insights and changes our habits,
perceptions and interpretations
so what would be more fit for 'anointment'
[red 'hash' oil]
for 'the messiah'
[profet, high priest & king?]! If
you would have to find another word
that binds religion, philosophy, fanatic convictions,
cleverness and all
that kind of 'shit'
together like love, patience, tenderness, sensitivity
& their practical use
it would be
....
Exactly!
