Troublesome

Just 2 weeks ago an ex of mine just randomly started throwing all his feelings out..
He told me how sorry he was for all the hurt he caused me and that he had been so blind for 5 years.

That he thought it was no coincidence that we kept finding eachother even after all those fights.
Because every time we were both single, we just kind of got "back together"..not as a couple..but just messing around. Until we got into a fight or he got someone else.

He also had a lot of girlfriends that hated my guts, because I was the "ex" ofcourse.
He always chose their side and I got abandoned again.

Still I forgave him and well if you actually know him he's just always blinded by love.

But I actually got quite mad, because I tried getting him out of my head in those 5 years.
I finally distanced him the last year and suddenly he starts telling me this.
I got so confused and I actually feel really bad.

Now I haven't been able to get him out of my head for 2 weeks,
even had a f'ing dream about kissing him..
He has the same dream about me..

I don't know what to do..
I am confused and I don't know what to say or think..

Does he deserve another chance?
(I do know he has to work his ass off for another chance, but should I let him?)
