The Boy {English Poem}

Her head went dull as he walked by,
Her mind became a giant clutter of exchanged words,
And words yet to be exchanged,
Her head filled itself with memories and hopes.

Memories of the first time she touched him,
Reading online of small moves to do so,
Forgotten memories of the first time they met,
Memories of hopes she had.

Hopes that he would one day ask her out
Forgetting that she never had a date before,
Hope that they would ever share a kiss,
Even though she never had,
Hope that he would share her feelings,
Never having that before.

She lurked at the beauty of this boy,
This boy in her school,
Close, yet so distant,
Beautiful on the in and on the outside.

A boy, not in her class, except for one,
One she looked forward to,
Even though she did not enjoy the course,
He made it all worth it.

And it that small moment,
In that tiny moment he walked past,
He smiled at her and waved his hand,
And he made her day.

After she waved back at him,
And smiled her most beautiful one,
She went back to talking to her friend,
And dreaming some more.

Dreaming of this boy in her school,
The boy she played around with,
The boy she had feelings for,
But which he did not know of.
